By the end of 2013, the Brainerd Family YMCA is projected to subsiduze $75,200 in free and reduced membership and program fees to 789 qualified individuals. Below is a letter from one of these thankful families.

Dear YMCA Staff & Financial Supporters,

......our family has been blessed to have a reduced membership at the Y and it's been a lifesaver! As a new mom I was able to build new friendships in the fitness classes and lose 50 pounds since having my baby! I've been confident leaving my child in the Kids Kastle babysitting area during my workout, where I know she is cared for and gets to meet new friends.
