US Sailing certified instructors will assess your student's experience level and provide instruction methods to match their ability. From Intro to sailing, sailing adventures, to learning about racing, we will get you out on the water and having fun! This summer each week is tailored for all ages and abilities. With the variety of boats we have, we can accommodate all experience levels. As always, we will teach our sailors great dock, beach and boat safety as they learn to sail.
Classes begin with land-based "chalk talk" discussions and demonstrations followed by an introduction to boat handling in shallow water and finally open water practice.
Our fleet of boats includes Optis, 420s, assorted scows, a laser and keel boat; offering students exposure to a variety of sailboat types and sailing experiences.

Sailing Camps are Monday through Thursdays on designated weeks. Each camp session is 20 hours (4 hours a day), and up to 6 participants.
Sailing Camps for Ages 6 to 8 Years Old
June 9th - 12th from 8 AM to 12 PM
July 7th - 10th from 8 AM to 12 PM
July 28th - 31st from 8 AM to 12 PM
Sailing Camps for Ages 9 to 11 Years Old
June 16th - 19th from 8 AM to 12 PM
July 14th - 17th from 8 AM to 12 PM
August 4th - 7th from 8 AM to 12 PM
Sailing Camps for Combined Ages 6 - 15 Years Old
June 23rd - 26th from 8 AM to 12 PM
June 30th - July 3rd from 8 AM to 12 PM
June 30th - July 3rd from 1 PM to 5 PM
July 21st - 24th from 8 AM to 12 PM

Sailing Lessons can either be Private (1 Sailor to 1 Instructor) or Semi Private Lessons ( 2 to 4 Sailors to 1 Instructor) are Monday through Thursdays on designated weeks. Each Lesson Session is 20 hours (4 hours a day).

Lesson Fees per Session
Private (1 Sailor): $400 YMCA Members/ $450 Community Members
Semi Private ( for 2 Sailor of your choosing): $700 YMCA Members/ $800 Community Members
Semi Private (for 3 Sailor of your choosing): $900 YMCA Members/ $1050 Community Members
Semi Private (for 4 Sailor of your choosing): $1000 YMCA Members/ $1200 Community Members
